Sylus is lovely and precious but I really wanna see more of the version of him when he's working. The cold, driven man who is so incredibly educated and dangerous. On the phone to his partner, talking casually with them while he tortures someone in the background for information. Leaking their mind out through the cracks using his EVOL.

The criminal that tortured and broke a room full of warlords, with a cold smile and absolutely zero apologies. A man so incredibly capable of extreme violence with a wave of a hand and calm dismissal.

His intelligence is so sharp and dangerous I want to see his cruelty edged with it.

What I think would actually happen if they stole SQQ? Absolutely nothing good for anyone, LBH would Lose His Fucking Mind xD as a more interesting answer though, I like the idea that Shen "Pedantic Nitpicky Asshole" Qingqiu's primary point of argument is that he is not a bride so he cannot be "bridenapped" regardless of demonic tradition or intention!

This eventually leads to them all completely avoiding the Maigu Ridge incident because TLJ realizes that, somehow, SQQ doesn't realize the depths of his son's feelings for him and decides to put all his efforts into being a wingman for his nephew instead because he finds the entire thing absolutely hilarious and rather satisfying after his own sad romance. Obviously someone like SQQ would do much better with his good, loyal nephew than the disappointing offspring of that disastrous relationship!

As for ZZL he just has to assume that LBH must not be treating SQQ anywhere near the way he should be (and like... he isn't wrong at this point, there is a non-zero amount of torture and terror going on here) if SQQ doesn't see himself as being tied to LBH in any way. And if he's not attached to LBH then there's absolutely no reason he shouldn't make his own efforts to seduce SQQ! After all, if LBH isn't valuing SQQ properly then obviously ZZL has to step up because someone as kind as SQQ deserves the best!!!

I don't know what exactly I expected from him, but I did not expect him to be this earnestly caring and protective over Rook, or maybe just not say it directly because assassin upbringing and whatnot. But no, he cares and he's gonna let you know that he cares in the most poetic turn of phrase possible.

a) Soulless - where do I start ? Amazing. Showstoping. Spectacular. Totally unique, completely not ever been done before. I LOVE every single love interest, I love Vyxaria as an MC no matter the path, I looove how neatly the plot all ties together - it's just all amazing. Best ongoing story I think.

b) Shakespeare's Code - despite the fact it's been 6 episodes, this story is bumped to the TOP of my favorites. It's just amazing, Amabelle is extremely entertaining as an MC, the love interests all have different plotlines, and I love how many stats & combinations you can have !

c) 7 Brothers - of course, it wouldn't be fair to talk about my favorites without talking about this story I've been defending tooth & nail since forever. A misunderstood work of art, I really like the MC, Jaynie's so relatable & an all-around character, I absolutely cherish her. Of course, there's the love interests & Langley's amazing writing strikes again. It's always the first story I play every update <3

d) Love, Sin & Evil - another underrated work of art, my favorite thing about this story is the mechanics of saving the characters ! Super innovative, I love it. I also think Mina's a super entertaining MC and the fashion is just top notch, though on the more expensive side 👌 Eagerly waiting for the next update & the upcoming finale.

e) Heaven's Secret: Requiem - unfortunately, despite all its problems, specifically romance-wise, I still really like this story, at least for the plot of it. I'm still invested in what the fuck is the deal with Lane, and how it's all going to end.

f) And The Haze Will Take Us - Suuuuper invested to see where Alice is taking this story. I was kind of torn on season 1 but I'm actually really focused on season 2 to see where this story and this haze will be taking us ! Looking forward to the next update.

There is a romance novel whose plot I read many years ago, but basically it is: Character A is blinded by a war wound, so Character B is hired to be his nurse.

Eventually, we are told that Character A went to that war because Character C (his former lover, who broke off the wedding engagement after the accident or something like that) said something that motivated him to do so, or rather, something that tested him to do so. Prove his worth or something like that. And, obviously, a romance develops between Character A and Character B.

Now, the plot twist: Character B and Character C are the same person. Taking advantage of the fact that Character A is blind and will not be able to recognize Character B as Character C, and with a lot of guilt for Character A's blindness, Character B decided to become his nurse, put up with Character A's bad temper and help him heal.

So, well, eventually Character A gets hit in the head which causes him to regain his sight. And Character B runs away so as not to be recognized, Character A looks for Character B meeting Character C again, they have a confrontation, typical romance novel sex, they tell their truths, and a happy ending.

Ok, putting that plot like this, I can only say: Bingyuan.
